Atiqur Rahman, the Country Leader of CISCO Bangladesh
Dell Bangladesh Country Director Atiqur Rahman has been appointed as the country leader of Cisco Bangladesh. Shiv Kumar Yadagiri, managing director of Cisco India and SAARC region, conveyed the matter in his LinkedIn post.
Shiv Kumar Yadagiri also said, “Cisco has been helping Bangladeshi customers in their ICT and digital journey for the last two decades. We have a strong ecosystem of partners and distributors in Bangladesh to serve our customers. Cisco continues to invest in the country, and the appointment of Atiq as Country Leader further strengthens our commitment to Bangladesh.”
Atiq has been working in Bangladesh IT for more than 24 years. He worked as Country Director of Dell Bangladesh for more than 10 years. Also worked in various sales, business development, channel and product roles at Microsoft and Siemens.
Commenting on the new direction, Atiq said, “I am delighted to join Cisco at this transformative time in Bangladesh's technological evolution. With rapid digitization and growing adoption of AI, I am excited about the opportunities I can help create for the people and businesses of Bangladesh. Over the past two decades, Cisco has been an important partner in Bangladesh's digital journey and I look forward to working closely with customers, partners, and the government to make these possibilities a reality.
Atiq holds an MBA in Marketing and holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics and Electronics from Dhaka University.
